Ghugni

Ghugni (in Bengali) is a curry made up of chickpeas, potatoes along with several Indian masalas. Different variations of peas are being used for different recipes. The recipe of ghugni is very similar to that of Chole Masala which is very popular throughout India.



This is a very popular dish not only in the eastern states of India (West Bengal, Assam, Odisha, Jharkhand, etc.) but its variations are popular across the country.

The combination of luchi and ghugni followed by home made dessert is something the Bengalis will always say "Yes" to.
